Camping & Touring

Camping

We have closed our park to tents unfortunately.

The grass is not ready to be pitched on, the ground has undergone major relandscaping after the storm damaged a lot of trees and the ground was in a terribly boggy condition. The ground level has now been raised quite a bit and we have since hydroseeded now grass areas however these are not ready to camp on yet.

If you understand the situation and are happy to camp on a gravel pitch and use ground sheets then that's fine and you are still welcome to come. However please book by telephone 01356 648565.  We have received too many guests who have booked pitches marked "Gravel pitches" and then left us a bad review when arriving to find there are no grass pitches. To this end we have now removed the option to book a tent pitch online, if you call the office we will confirm you're understanding of the gravel pitch before securing your booking. Many thanks!

We had a lovely weekend camping! Facilities were great and clean.

the kids enjoyed sitting with their fishing rods at the side of the pond.

Great site very close to Mount keen, queen's well and loch Lee. which are lovely walks with great views heading up mount keen.

Your staff are lovely and friendly.

We will be back again a few times over as this is one of our favourite locations to head to. Thank you

We stayed over Easter weekend in one of the camping pods. The pod was fantastic, very clean, great comfy beds for 2 adults and 2 children. A small fridge, microwave and kettle and heater all supplied with the pod and a fire pit with a small hire fee. We had a great time exploring the many nearby walks. Although the park is not fully complete it was wonderful and quiet and lots to see and do. Staff were very helpful and friendly especially Brian. Will definitely be returning in the summer.
